I was born in 1952, in Narberth, the town where I grew up. I went to school at Narberth Secondary Modern, leaving in 1968 to take up an apprenticeship as a bricklayer and plasterer.
I played rugby for a short time with Narberth Youth and Seconds.
In 1972 I started my own building business, working with bungalows and houses right across the county. My late twenties saw the onset of Muscular Dystrophy FSH. This debilitating disease forced me to give up the business.
I started a fruit and vegetable business in Narberth and as the years went by, also had businesses in Tenby, Haverfordwest and Saundersfoot.
I am in a long term relationship and enjoy a rewarding and supportive family life.
